Editorial Narra is a self-publishing house in Puerto Rico. We make your writing dreams come true!
We teach authors how to publish their own books. Self-publishing allows authors to retain the copyrights for their work and make the decisions on their project. They also finance the project and keep all sales income.
We also provide support for authors in writing, editing, publishing, and marketing their books.
About the editor
Vigimaris Nadal-Ramos, Ed.D.
Editor, Translator, Professor
As president of Editorial Narra, I provide editorial services and seminars for authors and entrepreneurs.
After years of listening to people say that they wanted to “someday” write a book but they didn’t know how to do it, I, as Editorial Narra’s president and editor-in-chief, decided to demystify the book publishing process. I offer all the services an author would need in a single place: support in writing their book, editing texts, handling copyrights, publishing, and marketing.
I acquired administrative and business experience at American Airlines Cargo, where I worked during 10 years. I have been working with different types of publications for over 20 years: blogs, school newspapers, yearbooks, corporate newsletters, press releases, and book translations, among others.
I am a graduate of the University of Puerto Rico: I hold a certificate in Editing and Editorial Arts, a bachelor’s in Communications, a master’s in Translation, and a doctorate in Education, Curriculum and Teaching of English as a Second Language.
I am available to speak at conferences and I provide individual consulting, as well.

Turning authors into entrepreneurs
I've been working with authors for a couple of years now and what they most enjoy is the structure that I bring to their lives, while respecting their creative endeavors. I help them understand that they can turn their creative work into a business that can provide an income.
I show them how an idea can be turned into a book, a blog, or a course, among many other options. Each of those, then, becomes an income stream, thus turning authors into entrepreneurs. This business model is ideal for those who want to create and generate income while still enjoying a flexible lifestyle that allows them to take on creative endeavors, travel, spend time with family, or any other activity that requires being away from the "office." Said "office" can be within four walls, a virtual office, an online business, or a home office.
My success is based on my ability to respect creativity and yet provide structure in the form of deadlines, action plans, and results. Oftentimes, I have compared myself to a child flying a kite. While the child is having fun, she is also providing direction to that kite and ensuring a safe landing instead of allowing the kite to get lost in the wind. I am that child. And the author is the kite. With grounded feet, I allow the kite/author to fly, have fun, be creative, but I also ensure a safe landing. That "safe landing" is the business end of creative work. Meaning, that after authors have created beautiful texts in the midst of the blowing wind, they must land their work safely in the form of some sort of product to sell, for example, a book or a course, so that they will have an income that will allow them to continue flying, traveling, creating, and living.
Therefore, I can help with that. If you want to devote your time to your creativity and have someone else help you develop the business side of it, email me at: vigimaris@editorialnarra.com. I'll be more than happy to help!
Note: Although the blog is in Spanish, all services are also available in English.
